10 centimetres of seduction
Le Silla is a women’s luxury footwear brand founded in 1994 by designer Enzio Silla and creative director and brand manager Monica Ciabattini in Sant’Elpidio a Mare, a footwear-industry district in Italy’s Marche region. The collections are conceived, designed, and researched in-house, while artisans handle production at the company’s facility between the hills of Marche and the Adriatic Sea. At its founding, the brand championed “10 centimetres of seduction” and adopted “place the ethical vision before the strategic one” as its corporate philosophy, creating shoes designed for long-term use.
