It is stated that founder Liliane Burty set up a workshop in Tourlaville, created designs, and sold them under the name Miss Burty. The line offers particularly high-grade products within the prêt-à-porter brand, including items made from imported materials and materials woven in textile-producing regions of Japan, carefully tailored at sewing factories in Japan. Distribution is centered on select stores, with some items also available online.
