macromauro is a Japanese bag brand based in Osaka. Designer 福本将之 conceived it in 2003 as a conceptual brand, and after gaining experience as a designer at a bag manufacturer, launched it in earnest in 2006. The brand offers bags as well as leather accessories such as wallets. The brand name has no particular meaning; its central inspiration is an “orderly slum,” and its concept is the idea that even things that seem accidental are in fact inevitable. Its bag offerings include the Paint series and “KAOS.”
