Overview
man.G is a fashion brand by Korean designer and painter Kim Ji-man. It launched in 2013 as “Graphiste Man.G” and offers unisex casualwear incorporating graphic art. Starting from the designer’s own act of drawing, the brand reexamines familiar things from a distinctive perspective and applies hand-drawn and handcrafted expressions to clothing. It combines tailored and streetwear elements and aims to convey the stories behind its work through capsule collections. It has also presented its collections at fashion weeks in Seoul, Guangzhou, and elsewhere.
Concept
Man.G Studio begins with reinterpreting and expressing common things around him that are viewed from the perspective of Man.G, a designer and painter. We want to expand the category of fashion not only in clothing, but also in various ways, deliver the story through capsule collections, and share the journey with the public.
