Mini Melissa 2010
Mini Melissa is a sub-line for infants, toddlers, and children developed by Brazilian brand Melissa (part of the Grendene group). It adapts signature silhouettes from the parent brand, such as Ultragirl and Possession, to children’s sizes. The range also includes models designed specifically for infants, such as “My First.” In terms of materials and production, it uses the parent brand’s proprietary MELFLEX-based jelly material and carries over specifications such as recycling-related features and vegan labeling, with production in Brazil. Collaborations with designers and characters, including Vivienne Westwood and licensed collaborations, are also undertaken within the Mini line. It brings designs from the adult line to the children’s market and serves as a point of connection between parents and children, as well as an offering for the children’s market.
