mocT is an original Japanese apparel brand launched in 2017 by 新内外綿株式会社. Drawing on the expertise of the spinning and textile manufacturer, founded in 1887, the brand offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, knit caps, socks, and other items featuring its independently developed GR7 heather yarn. The brand name derives from “mix,” “original,” “comfortable,” and “Technical,” which it presents as its concepts. Designer Kengo Baba took part at the brand’s launch, and it proposes everyday wear by drawing on the manufacturer’s expertise, from yarn and material development through product creation.
