NEWYORKER BLUE is a men's and women's line launched in 2014 to mark the brand's 50th anniversary. It carried forward the traditional outlook and craftsmanship developed by the parent brand while presenting playful trad casualwear as everyday clothing that could be easily worn during time off from work and on holidays. In contrast to the main line, centered on suits and blazers, it was positioned for more casual styling. Unlike BERKLEY, which championed modern preppy, and NEWYORKER GOLF, which specialized in golf, it was developed as a casual line for a broad range of everyday occasions.
A line focused on traditional staples for women
The Trad Collection is a standard-wear line for women launched by NEWYORKER in Spring/Summ
The Trad Collection is a standard-wear line for women launched by NEWYORKER in Spring/Summer 2016. Looking to the brand’s roots, it was developed to offer traditional staples designed to be worn for a long time, including blazers, button-down shirts, cable-knitwear, and polo shirts. While the regular women’s collection covers a wide range of styles suited to the times, this line was intended to clearly represent American trad staples. At launch, its distribution was limited to the Ginza flagship store and the online store. It was positioned as a range of staples for women, distinct from NEWYORKER BLUE, which covers casualwear broadly, and NEWYORKER GOLF, which is intended for sports.

BERKLEY began in 2017 as a spin-off brand of NEWYORKER, developing its parent brand’s traditional style into modern preppy. From Spring/Summer 2022, it adopted “MODERN PREPPY—HERITAGE SPORTS” and expanded its range of sporty casual items alongside youthful and playful designs. Unlike NEWYORKER’s mainline businesswear and The Trad Collection, which offered classic traditional styles for women, BERKLEY was positioned as a line focused on preppy-based casual styles. It went on hiatus in Spring/Summer 2023, and sales through the official online store ended in January 2025.

NEWYORKER GOLF is a golfwear line launched by NEWYORKER in 2021. Building on the brand’s timeless traditional style, it incorporated functional materials and patterns designed for golf movements, offering clothing suited not only to play but also to everyday wear in the city. Womenswear was added for Spring/Summer 2022, extending the parent brand’s clothing range into sportswear. It occupied a specialized area distinct from BERKLEY, centered on preppy casualwear, and The Trad Collection, focused on classic womenswear. The line was suspended in Spring/Summer 2023, and sales through the official online store ended in January 2025.
A contemporary everyday-wear line connecting work and personal life
Park Slope NEWYORKER is a line for men and women launched by NEWYORKER in March 2026 again
Park Slope NEWYORKER is a line for men and women launched by NEWYORKER in March 2026 against the backdrop of changes in working styles and lifestyles. It carries forward the value of “workwear that looks polished” associated with the established NEWYORKER, while proposing a wardrobe that can be worn for both work and everyday life without separating the two. It combines a polished appearance with comfort and is primarily available through e-commerce and outlet stores. Whereas the former NEWYORKER BLUE broadly proposed playful traditional casualwear, this line focuses on attire that connects work and private life, occupying the space between the brand’s traditional workwear and everyday wear.
