RIO is an American fashion brand led by Mexican American designer Rio Uribe. Its predecessor, Gypsy Sport, began operating in 2012, and Uribe changed the brand name to RIO in 2024. Based in Los Angeles, the brand offers genderless clothing, bags, and other items. It carries forward an approach that values the expression and participation of diverse people, including Latinx and queer communities, and presents collections at New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks. The predecessor brand received the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2015.
