roar is a fashion brand founded in Japan in 2001 by Saburo Hamanaka, and began presenting collections with the Spring/Summer 2002 season. It develops clothing that brings together elements of American culture, music, art, and sports, while also working on Japanese craftsmanship and materials development. With “LOVE & PEACE” as its concept, the brand uses a cross gun as its icon, embodying an antithesis to guns. The brand name was later changed to roarguns, and it remains active today.
