It is part of the lineage of Gi.Vi.Emme, a perfume company established in 1921 by aristocrat and entrepreneur Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone, which offered perfumes, eau de cologne, and cosmetics. Its signature product, Aqua di Selva, is a men’s eau de cologne launched in 1949, characterized by a fragrance built around citrus, herbs, and woods. Colognes and aftershaves bearing the same name are still in circulation.
