Overview

akemiayano is a jewelry brand launched in Japan in 2015 by Akemi Fukuoji, founder of AHKAH, and her daughter Ayano Fukuoji. Combining jewelry, art, and traditional Japanese crafts, it developed around the concept of “Modern Japanism.” It was announced as a new brand of the AHKAH Jinnan flagship store and introduced as a global line when GINZA SIX opened in 2017. The brand primarily produced creative fusion jewelry inspired by Japanese crafts such as maki-e, using materials including 10K and 18K gold, natural stones, and synthetic stones. Akemi Fukuoji and Ayano Fukuoji served as directors.

akemiayano was a new brand/global line launched by AHKAH around 2015. Created by 福王寺朱美 and 福王寺彩野, it developed jewelry incorporating Japanese traditional crafts and forms, centered on “modern Japanism,” distinct from AHKAH’s delicate, everyday jewelry. It was carried at AHKAH’s Jinnan flagship store and its Ginza flagship store, and major media also introduced it as AHKAH’s global line. As it does not appear in the current official lineup, it can be positioned as a former spin-off line.
