Real clothes for real life
ARCHI is a Japanese fashion brand launched in December 1999 by actor Sae Isshiki. Focusing primarily on womenswear, it offers tops, dresses, bottoms, knitwear, accessories, bags, and shoes, and is currently based in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, where it operates an official online shop and ARCHI gibbous. The brand name means “origin” in Greek. Its concept is “real discoveries and creations rooted in essence,” and it creates collections inspired by cultures and materials encountered while traveling. A kids’ line was also launched in 2004.

A children’s line launched in 2004, derived from ARCHI’s main line, which was centered on women’s wear. It shared materials, patterns, and inspirations drawn from travel with adult ARCHI, while focusing on children’s-size clothing and extending its offerings to things parents and children could enjoy together. The 2011 brand collection book explicitly identified it as “archi for kids” and introduced it as ARCHI’s kids’ line. Rather than being merely a product category, it is positioned as a derivative line that extended ARCHI’s world to children. No separate kids’ brand page can be confirmed on the current official website, so it is treated as a historical line.
