ARTIMATION is a Japanese fashion brand operated by Startling Co., Ltd. that launched in earnest in 2021. Its name is a coined term formed from the three As of ART, ARTIST, and ANIMATION. The brand expresses collaborations with some of Japan’s most representative anime, art, and artists through fashion items. Its offerings center on T-shirts and bags and extend to interior items and miscellaneous goods. Beginning with a project involving Banksy’s art, it has held pop-ups at venues including Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, art exhibitions, large-scale events, and select shops. It also develops projects under the name ARTIMATION DIRECTION and shares its work with the world from Japan.
