Asahi Footcare is a Japanese foot-care shoe brand launched by Asahi Shoes in 2021. Jointly developed by Asahi Shoes, the Faculty of Medicine at Saga University, and its affiliated hospital, the brand offers shoes designed with consideration for foot problems such as corns, ingrown toenails, and bunions, as well as strain on the feet, drawing on research conducted since 2011. Its focus is on a seamless construction that minimizes seams and unevenness, a soft feel when worn, and hygiene, under the concept of “shoes that protect foot health.” Its main models include 005 and 006.
