beruf baggage is a Japanese bag brand founded in Tokyo in 2006. Founded by Kenta Sano, who grew up in a family involved in bag manufacturing, the brand draws on Tokyo’s cycling and messenger culture and offers bags that support urban residents and “a life with a bicycle.” Combining carefully selected materials with the skills of Japanese bag artisans, it manufactures backpacks, shoulder bags, totes, and other bags in Japan as functional mobility tools designed to make getting around the city more comfortable. Its lines include Urban Commuter, Comfort and Functional, and GEARED by beruf baggage, with functionality, minimalism, and Japanese craftsmanship at its core.
