Carlota Barrera is a menswear-focused fashion brand founded in London in 2018. Its origins are attributed to a designer from Gijón, Spain, who launched a brand under her own name in 2018. The brand centers on refining and reinterpreting classic clothing, reconsidering Spanish heritage through a queer female perspective, and examining, deconstructing, and reconstructing the assumptions underlying menswear. It has received awards including Vogue Fashion Fund Spain (2019) and is stocked internationally.
