DELSEY PARIS is a luggage brand founded in France in 1946 through the merger of Delahaye, which made leather cases for cameras, and Seynhaeve, which manufactured cases for typewriters and record players. Its founders were Émile Delahaye and brothers André and Walter Seynhaeve, and the brand name was formed by combining the two companies’ surnames. The brand’s range focuses on suitcases, bags, and travel accessories, with an emphasis on French design, functionality, and innovation for travel. It is also known for product developments that transformed travel, including hard-shell cases and retractable wheels in the 1970s, and is sold in more than 110 countries worldwide.
