Filer is a Japanese bag brand based in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, offering bags and wallets. Junya Wada, who had experience launching the bag brand Un coeur, launched Filer in late January 2020 as a renewed effort to engage in craftsmanship. The brand name means “to spin” in French, and its guiding principle is to create products that accompany each person’s thoughts, time, and dreams. With “simple, yet unlike anything else” as its design concept and “unpretentious style” as its theme, the brand pursues simple, functional products.
