FilMelange is a Japanese cut-and-sew brand founded by Yūhi Ozaki in spring 2007. Focusing on T-shirts and sweatshirts, it uses carefully selected natural materials and develops its products in-house from the selection of the raw cotton through yarn, fabric, and sewing. With a commitment to Japanese manufacturing, it pursues the enjoyment of wearing through domestic craftsmanship, production at its own factory, and the training of skilled workers. Under the quality-label slogan “MADE WITH PRIDE IN JAPAN,” it carries out integrated manufacturing from material development through to finished products.
Concept
Using carefully selected natural materials; developing products in-house from cotton through yarn, fabric, and sewing; considering comfort and the environment and actively using organic materials; and pursuing Japanese manufacturing by making high-quality products with the skills of outstanding craftspeople in Japan.
