FTC is a skateboarding brand founded by Kent Uehara in San Francisco, USA, in 1986. It began by selling skate gear in a corner of a ski and tennis shop, then expanded its activities beyond boards and apparel into video, music, art, and design. Centered on skate culture and street culture, it offers clothing and skate-related products. In 1994, it opened its first shop in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.
