KAFIKA is a Japanese factory brand created by Mino Sangyo, a long-established manufacturer based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. Based on American casual style, it produced bottoms centered on denim and chinos, as well as jackets, in Japan. Its signature item, the “One Mile Trousers,” combines the feel of sweatpants with the practicality of everyday streetwear. The brand name comes from the Swedish word “fika,” and its clothing reflects the sense of well-being associated with a restful moment over coffee. Production ended in 2020 following the start of bankruptcy proceedings for Mino Sangyo.
