Overview

Tagline

For “you,” not “you all.”
KATY is a women's line under Apo(s)ture, a Japanese fashion brand launched jointly by nano・universe, operated by TSI, and ZOZOTOWN. Apo(s)ture launched on March 29, 2024, and KATY focuses on women's bottoms, including culotte pants and shorts. The brand is guided by the idea that “within a posture, there is (s) = style,” connecting clothing with the styles that emerge from each person's way of thinking and bearing. It features fully made-to-order production using Made by ZOZO.

Concept

Within a posture, there is (s) = style. Ways of thinking and carrying oneself, and the paths each person takes through life. Style is created from the things that make each person different. That is why clothes are for “you,” not “you all.” To explore and cultivate each person’s style together, so that it becomes part of them.

A line that expands length and volume through culottes

Within Apo(s)ture’s women’s lines, KATY is centered on volume created by tucks and culotte

Within Apo(s)ture’s women’s lines, KATY is centered on volume created by tucks and culotte-style designs. It keeps the waist area streamlined while adding width at the hems, and is offered in materials such as TR, chino, denim, synthetic fibers, and stretch twill. Unlike ARIA’s wide-leg pants, LILY’s flared styles, and SOFIA’s shorts, it combines the visual volume of a skirt with the functionality of pants, adding a distinct length and silhouette for both on- and off-duty wear.
