kippis is a Japanese Nordic textile brand; its name means “cheers” in Finnish. It was founded by the editorial team at Takarajimasha following reporting trips to the Nordic countries. The brand began with its own products in 2012 and launched in earnest in 2014. Centered on patterns created by designers who live in or have ties to the Nordic countries, it offers a wide range of products, including clothing, bags, umbrellas, towels, beauty products, interior goods, kitchen goods, fabrics, and various collaborations.
