KOOKY ZOO

MINIATURE is a derivative line of KOOKY ZOO that enlarges small garments worn by dolls and figures, as well as miniatures not originally made to be worn, to wearable sizes. While JUVENILE scales children’s clothing up to adult sizes, MINIATURE is characterized by reconstructing the forms and proportions of garments derived from toys and models, such as outfits for Buddy Lee dolls and G.I. Joe flight jackets. Within KOOKY ZOO, it is developed as a highly independent line that deals with subjects distinct from existing vintage clothing.

JUVENILE is an ongoing series in which KOOKY ZOO adapts the sizing and details of kidswear for adults. Based on 1960s vintage children’s clothing, it reworks elements such as buttons, rivets, pockets, and construction specifications in its own distinctive balance, expanding its range of items with a particular focus on denim. KOOKY ZOO initially envisioned a different concept for each season, but in response to the reception of JUVENILE, it has continued the series as a pillar of the brand. Distinct from MINIATURE, it is positioned as a core line for adult clothing derived from kidswear.
