MADE IN MADA is an accessories brand founded in 2014 by Gaëlle and Dimitri, who are from Madagascar, after they moved to Sydney, Australia. Drawing on Madagascar’s traditional raffia weaving, the brand offers bags, clutches, hats, accessories, and homewares made from raffia. Its products are handwoven by local women artisans and made to order. The brand emphasizes passing on traditional techniques and providing artisans with ongoing work and income.
