PRO TREK’s pinnacle line, with functional beauty perfected.
MANASLU is the flagship line of PRO TREK, Casio’s outdoor watch range in Japan. It debuted as the flagship line in 2009 and was named after the 8,000-meter peak Manaslu, inspired by its first ascent in 1956 by a Japanese expedition led by Arikata Maki. In the first generation, whose PRX-2000T was released in 2009, the development team, including Ushiyama, addressed technical challenges. Their aim was uncompromising attention to every aspect: outdoor specifications, functions, construction, materials, and finish capable of withstanding extreme conditions. Here lies the true value that supports expeditions to 8,000-meter peaks. High-end models are assembled at Yamagata Casio’s Premium Production Line.
