MLC is a sports-style sneaker series launched in 2021 by Mizuno, a Japanese sports manufacturer. Mizuno was founded in Osaka in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizo. Building on M-line, launched in 2016, the series has been offered under the name MLC since 2021. Centered on bringing the craftsmanship and silhouettes developed in the world of sports into everyday sneakers, it offers lifestyle shoes whose design draws on the old M logo, proposing “My own shape, unlike anyone else’s.”

A lifestyle shoe line that inherits M-Line from the early days of MIZUNO SPORTSTYLE and has been offered under the name MLC since 2021. Its design is based on the M-shaped logos used before the introduction of the Runbird logo, from the 1970s through the 1980s, and on sports shoes from that period, combining a classic appearance with modern comfort and functionality intended for everyday use. The line also includes models equipped with MIZUNO ENERZY and waterproof slip-ons. In contrast to RB-LINE, which foregrounds the Runbird logo and high-performance sports archives, it serves to present the logos of the past and Mizuno’s early shoe history as everyday footwear.
