Overview

MOQUIP is a leather brand founded in 2006 in Daikanyama, Tokyo. Designer Mayumi Ueda handles every stage of production herself, from pattern design to sewing. Drawing on her experience in sewing apparel and bags and in planning and designing leather goods, the brand offers a wide range of products, from accessories to clothing. Its brand color is a deep green, like moss, and it is dedicated to creating leather items that combine materials with character, quirky yet beautiful details, and skillfully crafted silhouettes. Signature motifs include the Galusha Series, which uses stingray leather, and “Oh! deer,” made from washable deerskin.

Concept
