N.Jam launched in fall 2019 as a new line from NOBLE, a womenswear brand by BAYCREW'S, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo. Created by concept director Satsuki Hamagawa, it centers on enjoying fashion by mixing pieces freely and in one’s own way, without rules, like a music jam session. The line was presented as a mini collection of eight styles. Another distinctive idea is linking outfit combinations like a game of shiritori, and it continues to be sold through NOBLE’s official online store.
Concept
The brand was created with the idea that people should enjoy fashion by mixing pieces freely and in their own way, like musicians improvising together without being bound by sheet music or arrangements.
