ORIENTAL is a Japanese leather shoe brand launched in 2016 by Oriental Shoes, a footwear manufacturer in Nara. Building on shoemaking techniques inherited from its predecessor, founded in 1957, the brand focuses on dress shoes and also offers casual shoes and footwear for unisex and women’s lines. Its official vision is “Make leather shoes more a part of everyday life.” The brand aims to make shoes that are comfortable to wear while using traditional construction methods, so that people can enjoy leather shoes as part of everyday life regardless of generation, gender, personal tastes, or trends.
