PLASTICTOKYO is a Japanese unisex brand created by designer Keisuke Imasaki. Founded in 2012, it began full-scale operations with the Spring/Summer 2013 season. Born in Kyoto, Imasaki gained experience at an apparel company after graduating from Bunka Fashion Graduate University. With an awareness of the conditions in contemporary Tokyo, where diverse things overlap, the brand proposes designs focused on the materiality of clothing in an era of increasing digitization of information and matter. It offers menswear, womenswear, and accessories, and received the 10th DHL Designer Award in 2016.
