Overview

ARCH & LINE is a Japanese fashion brand founded in 2012 by designer Naoto Koike and incorporated the following year, in 2013. It offers children’s wear and adult clothing for people of all ages, designed to be worn regardless of gender. The brand name is based on the “curves” and “lines” of patterns, which are essential to making clothes. Its guiding idea is to bring playfulness to seriousness and to create a bridge that connects people. The brand pursues genderless, timeless, and ageless design, and uses environmentally considerate materials such as organic cotton. It has exhibited in Paris since 2016 and has been carried in more than 30 countries.

Concept

ARCH represents curves, detours, and mischief; LINE represents straight lines, directness, and seriousness. The brand aims to make clothes that become a bridge connecting people, without ever forgetting “playfulness (ARCH)” amid “seriousness (LINE).”
