Overview

PROJECT BM! is a Japanese 1/6-scale articulated figure series launched in 2006 through a collaboration between Bandai and Medicom Toy. It produces action figures approximately 30 cm tall, primarily featuring characters from Kamen Rider, Ultraman, anime, films, and television works. The series emphasizes recreating characters’ sculpting, costumes, weapons, and accessories, and brings multiple screen and manga works to life as three-dimensional figures as part of Medicom Toy’s larger-scale figure lines.

PROJECT BM! was a 12-inch-class articulated figure project jointly developed by Bandai and MEDICOM TOY. Centered on Kamen Rider, it rendered characters from tokusatsu, anime, and other genres as three-dimensional figures approximately 30 cm tall. Combining dedicated heads, weapons, interchangeable hands, fabric or other-material costumes, and an articulated body based on the RAH301改, the project reproduced characters from their on-screen appearances as large-scale action figures. While its specifications were similar to those of REAL ACTION HEROES, developed by MEDICOM TOY alone, it was positioned as a collaborative line that clearly established a joint development structure with Bandai for character IPs owned and developed by the company.
