ROYAL NAVY is a Japan-based apparel brand officially licensed by the British Navy, launched in Fall/Winter 2017. Drawing on the British Navy’s vintage archives, it reproduces and reconstructs details from historical uniforms and equipment, presenting them as contemporary clothing. The brand offers the “Reproduction Line,” which faithfully recreates British Navy designs, and the “Original Line,” which takes inspiration from naval details. Its offerings center on military wear such as jackets, parkas, tops, and trousers. Hiroshi Nozawa has previously been responsible for design.
