An early men's functional underwear line launched in 2002 under the YG name. It combined cotton's soft feel with “Acticot,” a functional material offering moisture absorption and quick drying, emphasizing performance in response to sweat and humidity. The line extended across multiple categories, including T-shirts, tank tops, slit-neck shirts, and boxer briefs, and was characterized by its focus on moisture absorption and release, as well as moisture absorption and diffusion. While later lines DOUBLE HOT focused on warmth for autumn and winter, NextRA+ on modified cotton and lasting functionality, and CUT OFF on specification design, YG-X is positioned as YG's pioneering functional line focused on moisture management and moisture absorption with quick-drying properties.

Following YG’s brand refresh, DOUBLE HOT was developed as a seasonal innerwear line for cold autumn and winter weather. Centered on thick 100% cotton materials, it offered warmth, absorbency, and a comfortable feel based on cotton’s thickness and material properties, rather than the heat-generating functions of synthetic fibers. Its range included crew-neck and V-neck short-sleeved and 9/10-sleeve shirts, as well as tights. In 2019, its thermal retention and absorbency were improved through the use of specialized yarn and knitting methods. Unlike YG NextRA+, which proposes material functions for year-round use, and CUT OFF, which centers on garment specifications, DOUBLE HOT is a seasonal line focused specifically on winter warmth and sweat management.

YG CUT OFF
Clothing

A specification-focused line designed to reduce the visibility of innerwear.

Introduced by YG in 2015, this is a specification-focused line designed to refine garment

Introduced by YG in 2015, this is a specification-focused line designed to refine garment silhouettes and how they look when worn. Its CUT OFF® finish leaves the fabric edges at the collar, cuffs, and hem unsewn, reducing seams against the skin and making innerwear less likely to show beneath shirts and polo shirts. Variants are also offered for different uses, including all-season, cool, warm, and completely seamless styles. Currently within YG, it is positioned as a product group combining this construction with NextRA+ functional materials. While NextRA+ spans different material functions and in.T is dedicated to T-shirts, CUT OFF gives concrete form to YG’s focus on comfort through its treatment of garment edges and their effect on appearance.

A dedicated line focused on a discreet appearance when wearing T-shirts

A dedicated line within YG’s men’s innerwear range, designed specifically for wear under T-shirts and polo shirts. It combines underarm sweat pads, moisture-wicking and quick-drying, antibacterial and odor-resistant functions, a design that helps keep it concealed at the neckline and cuffs, and CUT OFF® construction with no stitching at the collar, sleeves, or hem. While YG NextRA+ offers a broad range of material functions, in.T addresses specific issues that arise when wearing T-shirts, such as sweat stains, show-through, and visible innerwear. Whereas CUT OFF is developed around its construction, in.T is a derivative line centered on the wearing occasion.

NextRA+ is a core line through which YG develops its pursuit of comfort, centered on cotto

NextRA+ is a core line through which YG develops its pursuit of comfort, centered on cotton, into next-generation functional materials. It offers products made with modified cotton materials and sustainable raw materials, with functions such as moisture absorption and quick drying, a cool-touch feel, lasting deodorization, and warmth incorporated from the yarn stage. Its collections are organized by season and function, including COOL&DEO, DRY∞DEO, and WARM∞DEO, and it takes a cross-cutting role in YG’s materials development and functional offerings. While in.T specializes in T-shirts and CUT OFF in sewing specifications, NextRA+ presents YG’s functionality and sustainability in a comprehensive manner.
