Overview
ARKnets is a select shop and official online store based in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, operated by Restrict Co., Ltd. It opened its first select shop, “ARK,” in 1996 and has since expanded to include an online store and affiliated concept shops. It carries numerous brands from Japan and abroad through authorized channels, and provides customer support such as free shipping for members, returns, and purchasing consultations by phone.

BALLAST ARK 2020
An original line launched in 2020 as a new brand produced by ARKnets. With “clothes that are always there as a matter of course” as its guiding principle, it is designed to build on basics with “a subtle accent” and focuses on items for everyday use. Within ARKnets, it has a role distinct from “ONLY ARK,” which centers on exclusive collaborations, and occupies a position among the company’s original offerings that strengthens the foundations of the wardrobe. It also supports “PORT BY ARK’s” classic direction from an everyday perspective.

ONLY ARK 2021
A special-order line developed by ARKnets since the Fall/Winter 2021 season. Based on staples and archive pieces from brands it carries, it redesigns elements such as color, materials, details, and sizing balance as ARKnets projects, releasing them as limited items. While its original in-house labels, “PORT BY ARK” and “BALLAST ARK,” are pillars of its own products, ONLY ARK serves to present ARKnets’ interpretation through external brands, making the line’s overall editorial approach visible.

PORT BY ARK 2023
One of the original brands developed by ARKnets, this line builds on authentic items and presents collections shaped through the design of materials, details, and colors. In contrast to ARKnets as a select shop, it uses in-house planning to present an approach to “assembling staple clothing,” complementing wearing experiences that editing and buying alone cannot provide. Within the lineup, it emphasizes classic-leaning proposals that form the core of a wardrobe, distinguishing itself from BALLAST ARK, which is more basic-oriented.
