Seasonal Basics
Comfort Basic was a basic casualwear brand developed by Honeys Co., Ltd., a Japanese women’s clothing chain. It appeared in Honeys’ sales figures by brand at least as early as 2006 and offered mainly staple items suited to everyday mix-and-match styling, including innerwear, cut-and-sew tops, and denim bottoms. Official materials described it as “Seasonal Basics” and gave its concept as “basic styles focused on materials and functionality.” The brand added seasonal elements to staple items and offered a wide range of colors and sizes, along with functional materials. It is listed in official materials through 2016, but is not included in the current official brand list.

A past line focused on seasonal basics

An independent brand line previously developed by Honeys, responsible for seasonal basics.

An independent brand line previously developed by Honeys, responsible for seasonal basics. In official financial results briefing materials, it was introduced alongside CINEMA CLUB, GLACIER, and COLZA, and handled basic items that were easy to mix and match. Unlike COLZA, which emphasized trends, and GLACIER, which targeted adults, it was positioned around a standard range of products supporting everyday wardrobes. As it does not appear in the current official brand introduction, it can be classified as a line from the past.
