FILL THE BILL is a Japanese fashion brand launched by designer Junichi Kaneda for Fall/Winter 2012. Starting with menswear, it offers clothing for women and unisex styles. Drawing on Kaneda’s experience in planning and production and his knowledge of vintage clothing, the brand proposes standard wear focused on materials, construction, and silhouette. Rather than setting a theme for each season, it is characterized by creating clothing through contemporary interpretations of archives it has collected and studied, as well as the histories of fashion and culture. It also pursues production that makes use of Japanese craftsmanship and materials made in Japan.
Concept
We would like to offer The clothes with atmosphere which by pursuing with Fabric, sewing, silhouette. We take the advantage with The japanese skills , and do the all process with The material made in Japan. And proposing a new creation by exploring , dismantling The history of fashion and culture . We don't make the season theme , we produce the clothes with the idea of modern Interpretation by researching and selecting the Archive by The season that we have been collected up to now.
