Jipijapa is a menswear brand launched in Japan in 1992 by designer Seiichi Kaga. Its name is said to derive from the Spanish pronunciation of a reed from Ecuador in South America, known as a material for Panama hats. With “ordinary, but a little interesting” as its keyword, the brand presents collections built on standard clothing, adding playfulness and experimentation.
