JUN OKAMOTO BLUE is a concept label launched for Spring/Summer 2010, based on collaborations incorporating saori weaving and artwork by people with disabilities, which JUN OKAMOTO began in Fall/Winter 2008. Unlike JUN OKAMOTO’s regular collections, which are centered on stories, it foregrounds collaboration with the welfare sector and the materials and artistic expression unique to each piece.
