maxsix is a Japanese unisex fashion brand by designer MIKIO SUZUKI, founded in December 2008. Working under the banner of surrealism, the brand creates realistic clothing incorporating surreal imagery. It develops garments using original textiles, graphics, and icons, through methods including printing, embroidery, and patchwork. The designer creates the artwork himself, proposing the pleasure of wearing the pieces and a fresh sense of surprise for those who see them.
Concept
The brand aims to create clothing as though each piece were an individual work of art, without being confined by the boundaries of clothing. It combines contemporary and classical art through graphic techniques and creates a surreal world using specialized printing techniques.
