ONE MADE is a handmade brand by designer MIKIO SUZUKI. It began as an initiative to individually rework deadstock from maxsix collections and launched in earnest in the Fall/Winter 2017–18 season. While maxsix applies original graphics and textiles to garments, ONE MADE adds secondary treatments such as hand painting, hand printing, and patchwork to base garments, giving each piece a distinct expression. The designer and skilled staff carry out the treatments. It is positioned as a sub-line that foregrounds handwork and individuality, distinct from lines that use ready-made graphics.
