Overview

Mic Mac was a youth-oriented clothing store and jeans brand founded in 1972 in Helsinki, Finland, by Eila Salovaara. It began in Puotila and later moved to central Helsinki. In addition to its own products, it carried brands such as Levi’s, Lee, and Wrangler, and sold jeans bearing its name throughout Finland. It gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s, and was also supported by young people who favored baggy pants in the 1990s. The business ended in the early 2010s and is no longer active.
