  • PENDLETON COLLECTION 1863

Pendleton officially announced The Portland Collection as the name of a new contemporary women’s line that would take the collection in a new direction. With Gretchen Jones as lead designer, it was set to launch for the Fall/Winter 2015 season as an assortment centered on distinctive patterns and woven elements from its own mill. It took over the role of a “modern entry point” served by The Portland Collection, while focusing specifically on women’s wear.

  • The Portland Collection by Pendleton 2011

A contemporary line launched by Pendleton in 2011, featuring a team of external designers. Centered on the brand’s blanket patterns and textile archive, it reinterpreted womenswear, menswear, and accessories with more contemporary fits and color palettes. It was distributed separately from Pendleton’s traditional sales channels, such as its own stores and catalog, and was sold primarily through specialty stores. In later years, the line also set the course for its development and reorganization into the related “PENDLETON COLLECTION.”
