Overview

S’YTE is a Japanese brand launched by Yohji Yamamoto on September 1, 2011, exclusively through its website. Designed by Yohji Yamamoto Inc.’s creative team, the brand focuses on high-quality cut-and-sew garments with an emphasis on Made in JAPAN quality. Its name derives from reversing the French phrase “et Y’s” (“with Y’s”). It began with menswear and launched a womenswear line in September 2012. With “anti-mode” as its theme, it presents genderless collections that carry forward Yohji Yamamoto’s distinctive cutting and silhouettes.
