Overview

ALLEGE S. is an exclusive menswear line conceived by the Japanese fashion brands ALLEGE and SHIPS JET BLUE. Based on ideas from ALLEGE designer Ryo Yamaguchi and SHIPS JET BLUE buyer Raku Tanaka, it launched in the Fall/Winter 2016 season and presented its second season in Spring/Summer 2017. The line was created to maintain consistency between SHIPS' MD and ALLEGE's collection line, and offered capsule collections centered on everyday wear, including knitwear, cut-and-sew items, pants, and outerwear.

An independent line offering a distinct range of proposals for SHIPS

ALLEGE S. was an exclusive line developed jointly by ALLEGE and SHIPS JET BLUE starting in Fall/Winter 2016. Separate from ALLEGE’s regular collections, it was established to increase the volume of ALLEGE products carried by SHIPS and to present clearly defined styles in groups of two to three looks. The logo also incorporated “S.”, and the line introduced elements such as streetwear, sportswear, and standard styles while maintaining consistency between SHIPS’s merchandising and ALLEGE’s in-line collection. While retaining ALLEGE’s core identity, it served as an independent line offering everyday styling proposals suited to its stockists; its second season was presented for Spring/Summer 2017. It was an official line that continued over multiple seasons, distinct from one-off special-order items.
