nonnative EXPLORER is a sub-line/product group developed by nonnative, a Tokyo-based brand. The parent brand nonnative was founded in Tokyo in 1999 by founder Satoshi Saffen, and Takayuki Fujii became its designer in 2001. The EXPLORER designation is used for technical/utility-oriented items such as jackets, vests, bags, and footwear. The range focuses on practicality and uses high-performance materials such as GORE‑TEX. Its products are sold through official shops and select shops in Japan and overseas. The parent company, TNP Company, also operates brands and retail businesses such as Hobo and Vendor.
