Pattofold is a line of folding umbrellas launched in 2026 by KIZAWA, a Japanese specialty umbrella retailer. It features a panel-based structure with shape-memory guide panels on the inside of the umbrella fabric, making the fabric easier to gather naturally when the umbrella is closed. With the motto “No compromises on lightness or ease of folding,” the line includes arella, a manual model, and swifit, an automatic open-and-close model. It aims to combine reduced effort when storing the umbrella after folding with lightweight construction.
