Rat Roen is a men’s and women’s casualwear line for shopping centers, launched from Fall/Winter 2013–14 as Roen’s second line. It tones down the main line’s skull motifs while offering products at lower price points. Launched in 2013 as a sub-brand of Roen, the line expanded primarily into womenswear. Its brand concept is HATE & LOW, and it reworks rock contexts such as Punk, Grunge, and Garage while toning down the strong skull imagery of the main Roen brand. It also offers many trend-conscious items and keeps its price range accessible. A policy of introducing new items primarily for women has also been indicated, positioning it as a women-oriented offshoot of Roen.
