X-girl is a streetwear-oriented women's brand launched in the summer of 1994 by Kim Gordon and Daisy von Furth. It opened its first store in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, and has developed its collections by incorporating elements of street culture, including music and sports. The brand's theme is “REAL GIRL’S CLOTHING.” It offers BASIC, enduring items inspired by cultures such as rock, military, outdoor, and sports. The signature face logo was designed by Mike Mills. A related children's clothing line, X-girl Stages, grew out of the babywear and maternity line.
